A series of four sculptures. I wanted to talk about "Conception" in its broadest sense. Conception as birthing an idea. The series looks at what a person brings to the "idea", intentional or not, their history and their hopes.

The sculptures are meant to represent the "idea" as it is born into the physical world...now a real object, that may or may not be what was intended in its conception. (2012)
